Pathway is guided by our Lead Pastor, Scott Miller.
-
In 2000, Scott and his wife Megan moved back to his hometown with a vision to start a church that was Jesus Centered and Spirit Filled. Pathway Church is the current product of that vision. As the Lead Pastor, Scott is the main visionary, teacher, leader of the staff and elders, and gives oversight to the missions department of our church. Scott has three daughters, Ashton (married to Trevor), Tate, and Hayden.

Our services are vibrant, with modern worship music supplemented occasionally by hymns. Expect an emphasis on prayer throughout the service; as we desire to worship God in spirit and in truth. We are also expectant to experience the presence and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The teaching is dynamic; with a strong basis of Scripture that is fleshed out in real life application. We believe the Word of God is alive and active, and that it has the power to truly change lives.

Our Pathway Kids teams work to provide an experience to help our Pathway Kids grow more in love with Jesus through interactive lessons, small groups, and, of course, lots of fun! Kids' services are provided at 10:00 am for ages birth to kindergarten. Our 1st to 4th-grade and 5th to 6th-grade (Group56) classes join the adult service for worship each week and are then dismissed to their classes afterward. We value the opportunity for kids to experience worship and the presence of God alongside their parents each week!
Every Kid's classroom has times of prayer on Sundays. This gives them an opportunity to express their own needs to God, as well as learn to pray for others.

Expect to be welcomed when you arrive, we’re pumped to see you! If you need help finding your way around when you’re here, or just have some queries, anyone with a Pathway lanyard would love to help you sort things out. We are honored you chose to visit us; and would love to meet you and answer any questions you might have. It will be our pleasure to help you find seats, check your kids into classes, and assist you in any way we’re able. Alternatively, if that all sounds a bit much and you would rather visit and stay under the radar, that’s totally cool too!

Everyone is welcome to come just as they are. People dress in all different styles, but you’ll typically see people dressed casual to business casual.

If you’re dropping off any kids you can enter through the east entrance on the far right of the building. If there’s no kids in tow, then the main central entrance is perfect.

The Pathway Students youth group meets upstairs weekly on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:40 PM. This is the perfect space for every middle or high schooler to learn from scripture, find a community of friends, experience Jesus in a way that draws them closer to a relationship with Him, and understand how vital prayer is to that relationship. Each week consists of worship, prayer, teaching, and small groups that are geared specifically to your student’s age group.
Pathway Students is more than a Wednesday night youth group. Our goal is that every student takes steps to make their faith their own.
On Sundays, we encourage all teenagers to join us in our main services and serve in various places around the campus. The worship and teaching is designed to appeal to students and adults alike.
To connect with Pathway Students, check our parent's group on Facebook here.

When you’re visiting us you’re our guest! We want you to feel comfortable and at home. There is no need for you to do anything but come and receive. Our prayer is that you feel welcome and at home.

We have taken measures at Pathway Church so you and your family can feel safe and secure whenever you're with us. Plain clothes safety team members are stationed all throughout the premises. Additionally, special care has been taken in the kids area to ensure that your children are safe and their classrooms are cleaned thoroughly.
Anyone who works with kids at Pathway must have a clean legal background check on file. We have an open door policy for parents to visit. Families can check on their kids at our check-in area, and our Pathway Kids Serve Team will be happy to walk you to class. First time check-in can take a few minutes, so we recommend getting there at least 10 minutes before each service starts.

Worship is one of our core values. Our corporate worship services are expressive, Spirit-led, Christ honoring, and Biblically based. Our worship team aims to lead us every week in powerful moments of praise and worship, and to ultimately encounter the presence of God. We regularly sing modern songs accompanied with the occasional hymn.

We believe that everyone should Serve Here (in the local church) and Serve There (in the community). Those at Pathway serve the community in many ways, volunteering as mentors at schools, serving in local mission agencies, and discipling those around them. We encourage service both individually and through our Life Groups to show love to our community and to share the Gospel.
-
Pathway Church has had a heart for missions since its inception. We regularly support over 90 missionaries and give a percentage of our general fund to missions. Additionally many Pathway members make monthly missions giving commitments, called Faith Promises. Our vision is to see the Gospel go out not only locally but also throughout the nations!
-
Sunday services are a mainstay, but we’re also very intentional about building meaningful relationships and making sure that we’re all growing together consistently in our relationship with God. What this looks like is everyone both making disciples and being discipled. At the heart of our strategy is our Life Group ministry which focuses primarily on discipleship, fellowship, and outreach.

Pathway Church was planted in 2000 by founding Pastors Scott and Megan Miller. The church met for the first two years in the garage of Outpost R.V. in Middlebury. Pathway then moved their gatherings to Northridge Middle School while the first portion of the current building was under construction. Pathway grew from a small group of thirteen people into its current regular attendance of 350 people. Pathway focuses on four key areas of ministry: Weekend Services, Life Groups, Kids Ministry, Students Ministry, and Missions. Pathway has and will continue to place an emphasis in following the leading of the Holy Spirit as we continue to grow into the future.

We ask everyone who calls Pathway Church "home" to go through our “Starting Point” class in which you will be introduced to the history, mission, and vision of Pathway. To find out more about the next class, email the church office.
